What’s better on a hot summer day than a thick, creamy decadent milkshake? A vegan, healthy delicious one that won’t spike your blood sugar levels and leave you craving crap all day long!
I’m a big fan of matcha green tea when it’s combined with the right ingredients and this recipe covers it all, it’s nutritious and packed with unsaturated fatty acids (cashews) and a ton of fiber (Medjool dates) too. Medjool dates are actually a really good way to sweeten a recipe naturally and can also lower cholesterol and boost bone health.
Matcha Green Tea is packed full of antioxidants and can give you a good boost in the morning, it also fights inflammation and has so many other health benefits too. Just make sure you pick a really good brand, I like 100% pure tea leaf, with no additives (like sugar) or contaminants (like lead or radiation).
I have this in the morning or sometimes in the evening after the gym in place of dinner! So Good!
